Cleanse... Out with the Old, and In with the NewDear Sacred Heart, I hope your day is bright and beautiful! So far my day is going well, as I reflect on the recent ‘Holiday Series’ of videos that we recently posted. Part one and two are focused on loving yourself, and the third was a celebration of the New Year. An aspect of self-love is making time to live the life we want. If we do an honest inventory, we may realize that during this new year there could be a lack of time or space. But if we have a desire to have a flourishing metaphorical garden, we need to get rid of the weeds. Otherwise, they will tend to choke out the good things in our lives. Even though it can seem unpleasant at first to weed, or remove the garbage and clutter from our lives, it does create the environment to allow our planted seeds to flourish. Besides our garden, the same goes for our house and our bodies. I often find that the new year is a perfect time to cleanse. There is a timeless saying “Out with the old, and in with the new”. Recently I did an intense health cleanse. Just like a car that needs an oil change a few times a year to keep it running efficiently and smoothly, so do our bodies. Check out my experience in this new Vlog Post of a new alternative health trend (click on the image below and it will take you to the video). It might encourage you to listen to your own body and perhaps explore some unusual options to clean the gunk out of your own holy temple. Here is a photo of my friend and Alternative Health Mentor Susan Schenck, the 'Water Ceremony' (after 82-hours without fluids), and our Altar... that gave us strength to keep going! During my first Dry Fast detox, I lost 10 lbs from this cleanse and my energy levels greatly improved. Now I feel a lot healthier from my contraction experience. Maybe this might inspire you to take some time out to consider how you might want to let go of what no longer is serving your body. It’s all a part of self-love. You deserve to feel better. Your time is valuable. It is an opportunity to just be, rather than do.
Love and ethereal hugs, Priestess Sahara P.S. Thank you to all of my family and friends who have written to me. I appreciate your own personal updates, requests, compliments and tips. Please know you are loved and I feel so much gratitude that you have taken the time to connect with me. I'll do my best to get back to you. In the meantime, I am sending a big telepathic wave of love, gratitude and recognition your way

Dear Sacred Heart, I wanted to share a little short story about last night. As you know it was New Year’s Eve. My partner and I are in Ecuador right now, and I must say the fireworks here are pretty darn spectacular! I mean, I’m not sure quite how to tell you? Regarding this time of year, they put on a lovely display all week. And on NYE they pretty much go all day long. Even in the afternoon there are noisemakers. The fireworks are also sprinkled throughout the evening, escalating into more and more until about 11pm where it pretty much goes nuts for 2-hours. Of course the GRAND FINAL is about 11:45pm to 12:15 Midnight. There are several short clips of the evening, and it’s a lot of fun!! Being from Canada I love fireworks, and so much valued the wonderful shows they would put on for us there. But this one is SERIOUSLY DIFFERENTLY SPECTACULAR!!!! So my Husband suggested about 10pm that he’d like to film me spontaneously showcasing this amazing experience. I’m not sure what it is, but it truly brings out the ‘playful’ little girl in me. I was just smiling, laughing, dancing and cheering! Come play with me, and check out this next video... which is my first Vlog Post on YouTube.... just click on the above image to get there. It’s more of a candid personal improv experience of this wonderful light show, and what it means to me. I’d like to share this with you as an inspiring metaphor, “out with the old…in with the new”… as we weed the garden and plant new seeds entering a fresh start with our New Year! Please join me in this grand celebration of our ‘Earth Family’… having this one thing in common, sharing in a sweet beginning with amazing potential to truly enjoy life… starting NOW <3 Love & blessings, Priestess Sahara P.S. I hope to take a couple of weeks off… or so. So this is my last newsletter for this 'Holiday Series'. I hope you too... have a good break before getting back to your normal routine. Enjoy some ‘me time’ , if you possible :-) “Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.” ~ Marcus Aurelius |
